A good German sterling silver mounted violin bow. The bow was made in the 1970ies in Germany. The round strong stick is made of red-brown pernambuco wood. The ebony frog is sterling silver mounted with white pearl eye and white pearl slide. The adjuster of silver with an ebony ring. The bow is very well balanced in the hand, it has its balance point towards the frog. The bow is strong yet active and produces a strong, full-bodied and a bit mellow tone. The weight is 63,8 g.
