returns and refund policy

the-violin-shop's trial period extends for 30 days.

the-violin-shop's extended 30-day trial & return period gives you plenty of time to extensively test and evaluate your purchase. If you feel that you are not completely satisfied with your instrument, please return it for a refund. In case of a return please inform us within 30 days of receipt of your instrument by email, fax or phone that you will be returning your purchase. We will gladly help with packing and shipping instructions.

the-violin-shop refunds the full purchase price.

the-violin-shop does not assess any restocking fee. We will refund 100% of the purchase price after having received the returned instrument in the same condition as when it was originally sold by us. Your payment will be refunded within two weeks of receipt based on the method of payment. Of course, returns of new products such as strings can only be accepted if they remain in their original packaging, unopened and in unused condition.

Our policy for the return shipping costs.

We are so convinced that you will be all satisfied with your new instrument that we will even compensate for the return delivery costs if you have ordered from Germany. All shipping and handling costs for returns from other countries are, however, at the buyer's responsibility.
